The GCSE written exam period runs from Monday 11th May to Tuesday 16th June 2020. During the spring term students will be given their own individual timetables. In addition a contingency period has been put in place by the Joint Council for Qualifications, in case of the need to postpone an exam “in the event of widespread, sustained national or local disruption to examinations during the 2020 examination series”. The end of this contingency period is set for Wednesday 24th June 2020 and all pupils must be available until this date, in case the planned timetable is disrupted.
